New construction for a 200,000 square foot warehouse for Lodge in South Pittsburgh, TN. Storage racking systems required a 60ft story height, 60ftx60 column bays and super flat concrete slabs for automated forklift traffic. Construction included exterior tilt up concrete panels around a conventional steel frame with long span bar joist roof framing. The design/build team consulted with specialty concrete engineers to accomplish VNA racking slabs with Fmin values over 100 extending 300 linear feet without control joints.
